A lot has changed over the last year with the new ownership at Keswick Marina Services. The act of new and change seems to be reinvigorating for Keswick Marina known as Keswick Marine for 45 years and we cherish the history of the Richardson family and the contrasting memories our building holds to our community. Keswick Marine was a family owned/run business for almost 50 years and Keswick Marina will continue to follow in those foot steps.

The history of our significant Keswick Marina started off as the Cameron House in Keswick with the “Cameron Bros Booth” along side of the house that sold sodas, snacks, cigarettes, sandwich’s, etc. back in the 1920’s. It seems the love and memories to behold at our Marina are everlasting. In our store, we have an article framed from 1937 regarding a perch tournament along the river and Keswick Marina was still then, attracting a large crowd. In the late 1970’s early our Marina was the mutiny bar, a popular local town pub. Many prize possessions were found during repairs, old tabs left from customers, menus, beer bottles, paperwork, bills and advertisements from past events. The Marina was later changed into the Flower Pot Diner, and finally, Keswick Marine. With the new ownership, there has been extreme changes to the main building of the Marina, as it was still decorated and manifested its original Mutiny Bar, fridges and kitchen fans and ventilation hoods, with the bar itself as the part counter, was finally renovated into a new showroom/store.

Dave Metherall and Tony Ma purchased Keswick Marina October 1st 2017 and under their management, they plan for the facilities to be upgraded, as well as their docks and buildings. They’ve also implemented a new customer-first approach. We are located on beautiful Lake Simcoe and can be found off Cooks Bay 5 minutes down the Maskinonge River. Today, under a new ownership for our former boaters and customers, we plan to continue to upgrade and improve the Marina and continue the tradition of high-quality service from our technicians, excellent customer service and dedicated employees.
